A Wooly Spectacle
On the last weekend of August, sheep are herded together on their summer pasture “Inners Aletschji” and are lead back to the Belalp. The most beautiful animals are awarded and decorated with flowers. On Saturday evening, the descent of the 800 Valais Blacknose Sheep is celebrated, before the shepherds select their animals from the huge herd and bring them back to the valley.

Off season (7.11.15)

 
During the months of October and May the facilities are not working. The chalet is reachable by foot ( Täätsche - Belalp in 45 minutes to 1 hour -> 1760 m to 2134 m ) Superb walk ... The station is completely deserted ... The atmosphere ...
